From Bouncy Castles to Gordon Head: A Story of Persistence and Vision

I first met Sean and Mariel about a year and a half before their sale in the most "parent"
way possible—our kids were jumping around a bouncy castle in Royal Bay wearing
matching Spiderman costumes.
What started as a chance meeting turned into a
dedicated 18-month journey to find their next home. Navigating today’s market is rarely
a straight line, and for this family, it was a true grind that included a few offers on other
properties where we were outbid due to budget constraints before we finally found the
right fit.
To get them into their dream location, we first had to navigate the sale of their beautiful
home in Royal Bay. After a strategic price adjustment, we saw immediate results,
securing a sale on the very first day. The home’s incredible Olympic Mountain views and
large one-bedroom suite drew in a new family relocating to the Island from across
Canada. Successfully closing this chapter was the exact catalyst we needed to make
their next move possible.
Having their sale secured allowed us to be far more competitive when the right
opportunity finally appeared in Gordon Head. We ultimately landed a fantastic property
close to all the amenities their family needs. While the new house is going to be a
project, the potential is massive, and it’s located exactly where they’ve been looking to
relocate for years. With a combined vision between myself, Sean and Mariel leading the
design, we figured out a beautiful renovation plan that is in progress of being executed.
It was a bit of a marathon, but seeing Sean, Mariel and their family finally settle into this
location makes the hard work worth it. I am so proud to have been part of this transition
and can’t wait to see the final product once they finish their renovations.
Congratulations, Sean and Mariel—thank you for sticking with me through the grind!
